FitEx is the name for the conference for the fitness and exercise industry in New Zealand. This event features the latest in science and business for every facet and role within the fitness industry – from facility owners, though to exercise professionals (Personal Trainers, Group exercise Instructors). www.fitex.co.nz
Dates & Investment
The conference will be held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of November, with re-conference workshops on Friday 25th November. Friday events in 2015 included a FULL DAY business summits for Owners and Managers of Clubs and a half day business summit for Personal Trainers, plus five other full and part day events (from gym stick, to pre-hab, to an Aging Symposium).
Previous events have been very successful with almost 750 club owners/managers, personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and other industry professionals attending in 2015.
There are massive discounts for those that are REPs registered, and managers of clubs that are members of ExerciseNZ.
THE event to attend for anyone working in the exercise industry in New Zealand

The Fitness Industry Awards have been running since 2005, and are designed to recognise those making a contribution to the health and wellness of New Zealanders through exercise and fitness. The awards ceremony itself is an annual event, and has had prestigious guest speakers including MPs and Ministers Hon John Key, Hon Rodney Hide, Hon Murray McCulluy, Sue Kedgeley and Auckland Mayor Len Brown. The ceremony’s MC is media and fitness personality Suzie Clarkson.

New Zealand’s road show, dedicated to supporting the New Zealand fitness industry. Includes 1/2 day workshops for both facility managers, and also Personal Trainers, to help grow and support their business.
