Multi Planar Movement and Programming – Where tradition meets progressive
Target Audience: Personal Trainers/Gym Instructors/PT Business Owners.
This session will review human performance at the highest level, and look to draw parallels with what the best athletes in the world consistently do to maximise their performance. In comparison, the current sedentary lifestyle many of our clients/members lead, may not be best supported using traditional exercise approaches only. Are there lessons we can learn from the best ‘performers’ in the world that we can scale for our clients/members? Where do multi-planar exercises fit in a broader training program and how can we provide our clients/members with some of what they want and some of what they need?
Habits, Behaviour Change & Connecting – The forgotten ART of Personal Training
Target Audience: Personal Trainers/Gym Instructors/PT Business Owners
The ability to connect with clients/members and develop strategies to change their habits to build lasting behaviour change is a forgotten art. Developing the skills associated with designing effective training programs is critical, the greatest training program in the world is rendered redundant though if your client does not commit to it, and you. Yes you! The hour or two you see your client/member every week cannot undo engrained habits of self sabotage, and to make lasting you changes you will need to develop a relationship built on trust that can create positive habits to allow long term stainable change. In this session we will explore some of the science behind these topics and design strategies that will help us connect, and change the habits of our clients/members.
